چکیده

The SUSY signals in the dominant stau-neutralino coannihilation region at a 500(800) GeV linear collider are investigated. The region is consistent with the WMAP measurement of the cold dark matter relic density as well as all other current experimental bounds within the mSUGRA framework. The signals are characterized by an existence of very low-energy tau leptons in the final state due to small mass difference betweeñ τ 1 and˜χ 0 1 (5-15 GeV). We study the accuracy of the mass difference measurement with a 1 • active mask to reduce a huge SM two-photon background.

Using Tau Polarization as a Distinctive SUGRA Signature at LHC

In the minimal SUGRA model the lighter tau slepton is expected to be the second lightest superparticle over a large parameter range at large tanβ. Consequently one expects a viable SUGRA signal at LHC in the tau lepton channel coming from the decay of these tau sleptons. The model predicts the polarization of this tau lepton to be +1 to a very good accuracy. We show how this prediction can be t...

Annual Modulation Signature for the Direct Detection of Milky Way wimps and Supergravity Models

An analysis is given of the annual modulation signal for the direct detection of relic neutralinos within the framework of supergravity unified models. It is shown that both the minimal and the non-minimal SUGRA models can generate neutralinoproton cross-sections at the level compatible with the signals reported in the DAMA experiment at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory. Effects of proton sta...

Signals for minimal supergravity at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. II. Multilepton channels.

We use ISAJET to perform a detailed study of the multilepton signals expected from cascade decays of supersymmetric particle produced at the CERN LHC. Our analysis is performed within the framework of the minimal supergravity model with gauge coupling unification and radiative electroweak symmetry breaking. We delineate the regions of parameter space where jets plus missing energy plus 1, 2 (op...

Measuring Supersymmetric Particle Masses at the LHC in Scenarios with Baryon–Number R-Parity Violating Couplings

The measurement of sparticle masses in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at the LHC is analysed, in the scenario where the lightest neutralino, the χ̃1, decays into three quarks. Such decays, occurring through the baryon-number violating coupling λ ijk, pose a severe challenge to the capability of the LHC detectors since the final state has no missing energy signature and a high jet mult...

After a lightning review of current bounds on the masses of supersymmetric particles, we describe strategies that may be helpful for extracting signals from the production of squarks, gluinos or top squarks, and from associated chargino-neutralino production at the Tevatron. We then briefly review SUSY signals at hadron and e + e − supercolliders. We discuss how various SUSY signals may be corr...
